Partly just to update my journal.

3.66 GPA betches! (two As and a B)

I mean, it's only my first quarter and I'm taking the easy freshman classes, but Dean's List is Dean's List and that means my parents won't complain about all the money I spent on supplies. And hopefully somehow I'll be able to keep the same pace, even though there's still a little voice in my head that's convinced I'm not even worthy of Drawing II (it doesn't help that one of my roommates is a freaking prodigy and the other has way more experience and an awesome non-animu style).

But I think next quarter I really wanna try and make it to some open figure drawing things they have, or at least spend more time on Posemaniacs because learning to draw the human body is kind of important and I kind of can't very well at all. Especially noses--I want to learn how to do real noses, not anime carrots or upside down hearts some people do.
